Sidemount & Backmount BCD

I have owned a few BCD’s for Backmount and Sidemount diving. Some worked well and some, not so much.

I have since upgraded both my Sidemount and Backmount BCD’s to XDeep and very happy with my choice!

Regulators

As a cold-water diver, my choice of regs has been very selective. I have always preferred a sealed diaphragm type 1st stage, starting with a Scuba Pro MK17, and now my everyday reg is an Apeks MTX.

Cylinder Valves

Over the years my cylinders have had various valves, usually whatever came with them but recently, I have been changing all my valves to XS Scuba Modular Pro-Valves and the reason why may be a surprise. Read the Blog to find out more.
